The imagery of the nest resonates deeply with me at this point in my life and in the current state of our country, where I find myself questioning things that once seemed stable. We often think of nesting as creating a shelter—a place of comfort and protection. However, nests are also ephemeral, constructed for a season and falling apart if disturbed too much. This series explores the fragile nature of the things we place our faith in. What is stability? Is anything truly stable? What brings comfort, and does it genuinely provide it?

Stress Nesting is a parody of my coping mechanisms. When I am stressed, I turn to comfort in the form of chocolate.  Is that a healthy way to manage stress?
