If I were to become a mermaid, I would embark on adventures with all my favorite sea creatures. In "Sea Turtle Tango," I especially love the fish scale pattern on the perfectly goldfish colored paper that forms the mermaid's bodice.  It coordinates beautifully with the marbleized paper that creates her tail.
 
Some might say I have a problem, but I believe I'm just curating an incredible collection of decorative papers. Florentine prints, Venetian and French marbles, and Thai and Japanese mulberry papers each inspire different facets of the mermaid ecosystem. I've discovered a magnificent use for these papers in my mermaid collages.
