Water buffalo are a hoot.  They remind me of the herd of cows I watch on Jefferson Highway- they spend most of their day grazing, and they look up at you like they are saying, “What? I’m still hungry!”  
 
Unfortunately, they are also a very satisfying meal for a family of lions.  We saw many “Savannah Gravestones” like poor Yorrick.  I especially love this guy's teeth. Look- they are perfect pearly whites!
