If I were to become a mermaid, I would embark on adventures with all my favorite sea creatures. In "Octopus Waltz," painted paper especially to capture the texture of an octopus' suction cups.
 
Some might say I have a problem, but I believe I'm just curating an incredible collection of decorative papers. Florentine prints, Venetian and French marbles, and Thai and Japanese mulberry papers each inspire different facets of the mermaid ecosystem. I've discovered a magnificent use for these papers in my mermaid collages.
