Kelwood Contemporary Art

Kelwood Contemporary Art (KCA) was born out of Jennifer Carwile’s need for space to create and showcase her work but soon blossomed into something more. KCA is a haven for artists who don’t fit into molds and embody artistry in motion. Carwile is enamored with the idea of creating her own salon des refusés because art and the ability to show it should be accessible. Previous shows, such as “Reflections on 2016” and “Finding Your Voice,” examined how artists reacted to the nuanced and oftentimes troubling world around them.
